You should not see a screen repaint and that should esp. not turn anything black. Is the taskbar, preview or titlebar still visible or does the entire screen turn black? Is the pointer still visible? Please attach the output of qdbus org.kde.KWin /KWin supportInformation Georg I'm unable to reproduce this issue on the latest Plasma from git master. Can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved.
