Gwenview 4.14.0pre from Kubuntu Backports PPA

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Mount a curlftpfs filesystem that you have write access
2. Open a picture in the filesystem using Gwenview
3. Modify the picture and try to overwrite the file

Actual Results:  
Gwenview errors with "Could not open file for writing, check that you have the necessary rights in <path>."

Expected Results:  
File overwritten

As I don't have a curlftpfs filesystem to test this on can you please confirm if this issue still persists for you?
