Hi,
Actually to do a transparent color, I've to open the picture with Gimp software. In my youth time I know paint software managed that under windows 98 and XP. Maybe this plugins is existing and should be great.

Thanks you for your amazing work.

Reproducible: Always

Can you clarify what it is you're asking for?
Comment 2 Michel 2017-09-11 06:07:55 UTC
Thank to answer,

English is not my language. I'm going to do my best.
As crop or resize managing could we get a transparent managing?

It should work like this you choose a color and you put as transparent. The color doesn't appear anymore if the type of file permit that. The paint software from Microsoft does that.

Thanks

So you want the ability to make parts of the image transparent? To basically cut part of an image out of its background, without using GIMP? If you're familiar with Apple Preview, are you asking for a Gwenview implementation of the "Instant Alpha" feature (https://9to5mac.com/2014/05/11/how-to-get-started-with-instant-alpha-and-smart-lasso-in-preview-for-os-x/)?
