Bug 344700

Insert mode works fine, but when I press any letter (like q) after the colon, it crashes.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Kate
2. Switch to VI Mode
3. Input a colon (:) and press any letter (like q).

Actual Results:  
Crashed (segfault).

Expected Results:  
the letter (q) appears in the text area.
