It looks like the dynamic library loader got confused by the updated KDE packages. If this issue is persistent after a restart of the Desktop, please add a comment. If this issue is persistent after a restart of the Desktop, please > add a comment. Yes, it is persistent. Rebooting (or typing startx) reproduces the problem. If I log in with KDE I get a black screen. Interestingly I cannot choose Gnome either anymore, the system just hangs. I still have not desktop environment available. If it is, another possibility is that you are mixing incompatible versions. Yes, the problem remained the same. I ended up re-installing the OS and now things work again. I guess there is nothing we can do, as this seems an issue with the library loader/cache. |
