Description gibbz1 2015-02-17 06:21:29 UTC
There needs to be a way to scale the image from the center of the object (at least from the transform pivot which defaults to the centre).

This should be done via a shortcut, ctrl, alt or shift when scaling.

Photoshop's shortcut key is alt, it seems.

So some months ago for about a few commits I was able to scale from center, tho it was buggy, then it was removed and never added back. So I wonder what happened to this?

WISHGROUP: Stretchgoal

It was not accepted in 2015; maybe because it was too minor, though it's quite a bit of work.

+1 I also often miss these functionality...
Comment 5 Scott Petrovic 2018-04-25 14:51:41 UTC
This exists now in Krita 4.0.1 to be able to scale and do transformations around a pivot point. Closing. If there are any bugs or new feature requests they can go in a new ticket.
