Description Jamie Kitson 2015-02-14 09:08:43 UTC
Since the Plasma 5 version of Gwenview (kdegraphics-gwenview-4.14.3-1 -> gwenview-14.12.1-2) icons were missing and single click wouldn't work unless XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP is set (to "kde"?).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Run Gwenview outside of KDE. (Or Gnome?)

Actual Results:
Icons missing, settings (eg, SingleClick) not set.

Expected Results:
Icons available, settings (eg, SingleClick) set.

I hit this in Fedora 22 with Gnome DE. I grabbed kate-15.04.3 SRPM from rawhide, changed the source to 15.08.0 and rebuilt the RPMs. In my limited testing so far, it seems to be working.

If anyone feels brave/desperate enough, I've got the SRPMS and x86_64 RPMS available here:

I hit this with dolphin and kate on gentoo (I use a custom tiling wm).
So this probably should be reassigned to some core library or something, instead of gwenview.

P.S. huge thanks for the workaround;)

Use qt5ct if your desktop does not offer a Qt integration plugin.
