Description Kakadu.hafanana 2015-02-11 23:10:22 UTC
Plasma hangs but mouse moves. I can click but desktop doesn't react.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Maximize a window
2. Move mouse to top left corner (which allows to show all opened windows) till small blue (cyan?) trangle appears but all windows are not yet showed
3. Press Alt-F3 to active current window menu

Actual Results:
plasma hangs

Maybe it is related to my Intel video card...

I use packages from
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ci/unstable-daily/ubuntu utopic main

Thanks, I couldn't reproduce this here.

Can you confirm that this does hang every time?
Comment 2 Kakadu.hafanana 2015-02-13 12:20:45 UTC
I tried a couple of times. It was always reproducable. And it seems that it happens with every app window.

Do you use Intel video card?

I can't see anything suspicious there but maybe you will

Cannot reproduce either.

Does that happen with any window/app or only some in particular? Which app are you testing this with?
Comment 6 Kakadu.hafanana 2015-05-13 21:55:14 UTC
I have tried several apps including Psi+, QtCreator and konsole. I think it happens with any window on my machine.

I have tried it on virtualbox and it was fine. Maybe I need to upgrade to Ubuntu 15.04 to get most fresh version of Frameworks. Maybe it is magically fixed there....

Can you still reproduce this with Plasma 5.5 and Qt 5.5?

Not really, no.

Cool, thanks for getting back.

Assuming fixed then. Please reopen this report
if you happen to reproduce this again with newer
versions.
