beta 2 - Feb 2 version.  It appears there is now something intercepting krita aborting.  The message box doesn't support copy so I can't show the error (next time - I've been able to get krita to hang up relatively easily doing routine things).  In any case the message says Ignore to continue or Abort to see developer information.  Pressing Abort yields a hung program.  The windows error log is:

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Get krita to send message box to ignore or abort - work with various things for 5 minutes or so with various brushes and layers
2. press Abort button on message
3.

Actual Results:  
Application hang

Expected Results:  
no problem in the first place.  Expected either something back to me (developers error info) or something transmitted to krita.

Surface Pro 3 - all the latest updates to the system including current wintab driver although I wasn't using the stylus at the time.  Mouse will get it done.

Could you take a screenshot of the message box next time? I spent most of last night sketching with Krita on an ntrig device and I didn't get a single error :-(

Thanks! I just fixed this issue in commit c6bc7391b41528f74b4d387da80c71689d660647

I'll make new builds this weekend.
