The default webbrowser is reset to Firefox with every login to Plasma5



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to: systemsettings -> Defalut Applications -> Webbrowser
2. change to konqueror via the menu dialog by pressing the button with the three dots (...) and choose konqueror
3. konqbrowser is displayed
4. close systemsettings and reopen it -> konqbrowser is still displaeyed
5. reboot and open systemsettings again
6. firefox is selected as defalut webbrowser

I can confirm this. I change default browser to chromium, which holds only for the current kde-session. then firefox is selected again.

Hi,
I can't reproduce your bug on Opensuse 13.2 with Plasma 5.2.0.
I selected konqueror, applied this configuration and then rebooted, and konqueror was still selected as the default web application.
I used a cleaned virtual machine to test it.
So maybe your configuration is different.
Can you give more details about your OS ?
Can you confirm that this bug is still reproductible on a clean and fresh kde session ?
If the bug is linked to your config files, can you provide them ?

I cannot reproduce any longer. After all I think it was no bug in the systemsettings modul, but the setting was always "restored" from the one from KDE4. This seems to be fixed with the Frameworks 5.7
