When I click on the kickoff widget to open kickoff menu my mouse point is still located on the widget and near the favorites pane.

Very often, but not 100% reproducable it switches to the leave pane without moving the mouse over the "Leave" text.

This is very annoying when working with plasma shell.

My main panel is on the TOP of screen with the kickoff widget on the LEFT

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have the main panel on the top of the screen with kickoff widget (to open kickoff menu) on the left
2. click on the widget to open menu

Actual Results:  
Often, menu opens and switches to "Leave" pane immediately

Expected Results:  
Should stay in default pane (Favorites) while mounse is not moved

Maybe this is some race condition betwenn a) the " that watches for mouse over event on the different panes and b) the opening animation of the menu?

Mayb watching for mousover events on the panes should only start when the menu is already open, not before?

solved in plasma-framework master (next frameworks release in few days)
