Description mvowada 2015-01-27 17:07:21 UTC
In "Canvas Only" mode, Click and Drag over left doesn't make scrolling the screen.
You can scroll over top, right, bottom but not left (Ubuntu Unity, Krita 2.9 Beta 2 git153087f)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Zoom in to make canvas larger than your screen
2. Hit "Tab" to enter "Show Canvas Only" mode
2. Hit "Ctrl + R" to switch to "Rectangular Selection Tool"
3. Click and Drag on canvas towards left

Actual Results:
You can't scroll the screen towards left.

Expected Results:
Dragging towards left should let you scroll the screen as it does towards top, right and bottom.

for me when i hit tab to enter canvas only mode
moving up doesnt work with mouse & stylus
moving left doesnt work with stylus

when i leave full screen mode with ctrl+shift+f
all works while in canvas only in window mode

I can't confirm a problem with mouse & up -- it's only moving to the left that doesn't work for me.

whats your Multiple Document Mode setting?
if i use Tabs auto scrolling up works, if i use Subwindows it doesnt, scrolling left also works when i have a docker on the left side visible e.g. Tools docker.

Ohoh! That's an interesting observation. It means that it's pretty likely that it's a QMdiArea bug, not a Krita bug. Though still horribly annoying, of course!

Nothing we can do about it, I'm afraid.
