Description Hendy Irawan 2015-01-26 04:52:43 UTC
See YouTube video at http://youtu.be/DVDUJ6osbzs for demonstration.

Note that the folder is never changed during the whole process.

The accurate size is given properly by `du` :

ceefour@hendy:/media/ceefour/passport/project_passport/lumen/import5_neo4j > du -ch graph.db
12K graph.db/index
152M graph.db/schema/index/lucene/1
144M graph.db/schema/index/lucene/3
144M graph.db/schema/index/lucene/4
283M graph.db/schema/index/lucene/5
721M graph.db/schema/index/lucene
721M graph.db/schema/index
18M graph.db/schema/label/lucene
18M graph.db/schema/label
739M graph.db/schema
6,6G graph.db
6,6G total

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to a folder with over 6 GiB in size, I've checked this happen on NTFS USB portable drive, and also ext4 SSD drive, both over 6 GiB in size. (Note: I don't know what's the exact criteria to trigger this bug, this is only my best guess)
2. Alt+Enter (or right-click, Properties)
3. Click Refresh on the size

Actual Results:
different results on every Refresh, and most of them incorrect

Expected Results:
consistent, accurate result

Sasa, What's going in your screenshots is that Dolphin's status bar is calculating the size only of the files themselves, and is not including the directory. This is tracked with Bug 158090.
