Description kde_user 2015-01-24 07:54:44 UTC
In any KDE 4 version there is one thing presented: sometimes you can faced the situation. when the, let's say, text file "file.txt" with content "abc" somehow became present in the ~/.kde4/Autostart/ directory and then when you try to login with the KDM into a KDE session - none of autostart apps can't loaded due to this "file.txt" and even more it can give weird results like infinite Konqueror instances loading, Kate trying to open this file with no luck and so on and all this just due one file and no warnings on the screen to help...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create the file in the ~/.kde4/Autostart/ directory
2. have some other apps also there for "better" result
3. login into KDE session

Actual Results:
Bad non-informative autostart experience with weird behavior.

Expected Results:
This behavior should be improved and more user-friendly so the _new_ user can see (maybe info window with a message) that a wrong file cause the autostart issue or even more - enhance it in some way, so KDE is not breaking for user due to one illegal file.
