Note this is similar to #21520 but not the same.

It would be very nice if in the body of an email a signature could be shown in fixed-width font despite the rest of the message being in variable-width. Note I am not talking about the sig entry box as in #21520 but the mail itself.

I would prefer another color instead of fixed width font. But I vote for the wish anyway.

Well, to be really flexible with this, I'd like to have a new Entry "Signature" in both Custom Fonts and Custom Colors to configure the appearance. Also, a default for those who do not use custom colors/fonts would be nice, my preferred one would be a text color of grey in fixed width font.

It would also be nice if KMail could display a horizontal rule
(<hr/>) between body and signature, just like KNode does.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
