Kile crashed right after start. It managed to show the »Tools need to update« popup, where I can either click on yes or no, and crashes regardless of my choice. This only affects the frameworks version. The latest KDE 4 version of kile works fine.

The same problem happens with me, Building Kile using KF5. Maybe this [1] bug is related?

This seems to work fine now with Kile compiled from git master (commit fe472dc3e4ea24b637a69b54711ba4f1f8f873dc).
