Sentry Crash Report:

Description Eduard Batmendijn 2015-01-16 22:18:42 UTC
When I write a (sufficiently long) prefix of some word already used in the file, auto word completion suggests this word. Then, if I type a character that does not match the following character in the suggested word, the popup box should disappear. However, it sometimes disappears only partially. Also, sometimes it becomes partially transparent (amount of transparency is not always the same).

I'm using kate 3.13.3 on Ubuntu 14.04

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable Auto Word Completion.
2. Type some word into a new file.
3. Type a sufficiently long prefix of the same word, so that the auto completion box pops up.
4. Type a letter that does not match the following character in the word.

Actual Results:
The pop-up box did not disappear entirely.

Expected Results:
The pop-up box should have disappeared.

Closing as this report is really old; feel free to reopen if you can still reproduce this issue with a recent kate version.
