zoom level high, but screen resets
agenda is now resets, time scale is still increasing

Description Martin Zbořil 2015-01-15 19:17:57 UTC
my DPI is set to 260 so the text is readable on QHD screen, when zooming with the ctrl+scrollwheel at same point it glitches, content gets reset to default zoom level and timeline zoom-level increases indefinitely without affecting the content.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. increase DPI to 260 in systemsettings > Application Appearance > Fonts
2. open agenda and zoom until glitch appears and agenda resets while timeline still zooms in
3. ..or check the screenshots

also it is version 4.14.1 which is missing in the list...

now the screen resets to default zoom just by zooming further.

timeline ends at 7:00 while current time is displayed showing 20:20 and all items for entire day are still displayed.
Comment 5 Denis Kurz 2017-06-23 20:00:07 UTC
This bug has never been confirmed for a KDE PIM version that is based on KDE Frameworks (5.x). Those versions differ significantly from the old 4.x series. Therefore, I plan to close it in around two or three months. In the meantime, it is set to WAITINGFORINFO to give reporters the oportunity to check if it is still valid. As soon as someone confirms it for a recent version (at least 5.1, ideally even more recent), I'll gladly reopen it.

Please understand that we lack the manpower to triage bugs reported for versions almost two years beyond their end of life.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.1 aka 15.12; preferably much more recent), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
