I'm planning to implement high-DPI support, but it'll take a while. Martin, can you please stop whining? > reporting bugs for several days Your first report: 2015-01-13 17:21 Your last report: 2015-01-13 18:26 > return the display hoping that it gets resolved after developers get the displays themselves Right. Donate your system to the KDE project, so that developers can actually test. Not everyone has the money to buy new high-end hardware. NO! without feedback, how do you know stuff's broken? I am going to continue reporting, although it is true that this account is a bit new, but I was reporting bugs like at least 9 years ago. The icons etc. seem to scale well with the new high DPI settings (http://blog.davidedmundson.co.uk/blog/high_dpi_again) but the windows is wider than my screen. I guess yakuake gets the size of the screen in physical pixels and then uses some fraction of it. The covered fraction of the screen should be independent of the high DPI settings. (The actual konsole part does not scale but that does not work either in konsole on my system.) *** Bug 356781 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** (In reply to Tim Ruffing from comment #4) > I guess yakuake gets the size of the screen in physical pixels and then uses > some fraction of it. That might be a different bug (might already be fixed). Please open a new bug report (ideally search for existing ones first) if it still happens for you. |
