I can confirm this happens with kinfocenter 5.2.0 on Arch Linux, using the free AMD drivers. I can't provide a backtrace because no crash is generated (it just hangs indefinitely) but the last console output is: Error: glXMakeCurrent failed A similar bug seems to have been discovered and fixed by Debian a long time ago here: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=430020 *** Bug 346865 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 356171 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I can confirm that. Version 5.4.2 on Kubuntu 15.10 Using: KDE Frameworks 5.15.0 Qt 5.4.2 (built against 5.4.2) I have an Intel/AMD hybrid graphic and fglrx-updates driver switched to AMD Radeon R5 M255. It crashes every time. *** Bug 359690 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 363920 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? I am setting the status to NEEDSINFO pending your response, please change the Status back to REPORTED when you respond. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! I cannot reproduce this bug anymore. Thanks for the update! |
