Apparently, you should be able to save assistants, however the option to do so is completely missing on both versions that I have on my PC.

Version 2.9 Pre-Alpha (git 63888ac)
2.9 Beta 1

maybe a windows specific issue?

Hi there,
Do you mean ruler assistants? I can save/open them fine in Krita 2.8.7 on Fedora 21. Select the Ruler Assistant Editor Tool, and the save button should be in the tool options.

(note: I'm a Google Code-in student)

yes, I mean ruler assistants,  the option to save isn't in the tool options.

also, I am using windows.
