I really didn't mean anything bad by what I said and I tried to edit it but seems it's not possible. What I really meant is I'm looking forward to this bug getting fixed so that I can get back to happily using KDE 5. Please check if you are indeed using Plasma version 5.1.2. I'm not currently using KDE actually. It's an issue regardless of the distro it's on and I'm just trying to get attention to this so that it's fixed in the near future. KDE 3 and 4 did not have this issue. Works fine here (dev latest) Given you're not currently running Plasma there's nothing I can do but close this, as I can't ask you to provide any further information to help debug it. Also having the issue with plasma 5.1.2 on Archlinux. So according to you, glad to hear next version should solve that. I think this should stay open. Try what I said and set to "allow windows to cover panel" and see if it reveals when you try it. It worked fine in Plasma 3 and 4 but not in 5. Why would such a useful feature be removed? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 343448 *** |
