Wrong library loaded. I removed the unwanted libraries; KGet behaved for some time but the bug returned. Except that it does not release the memory after download finished either this time. Hi there, I cannot reproduce this with KGet 2.14.3, can you upgrade your version and see if this still occurs? FWIW, bug 64555 seems similar to your not-releasing-memory problem, but it was fixed years ago. (note: I'm a Google Code-in student) I've just tested this on kget 20.08.3 and I can't replicate the issue, it climbs to around 100MB of RAM and then lowers back down once it writes that information to disk. Can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved. I've set the bug status to "needsinfo" pending your response, please change back to "reported" or "resolved" when you respond, thanks.
