Steps to Reproduce:
I think I tried to drag and drop this entry to the desktop and later this happened.

I can't reproduce this. 

I've done lots of dragging and dropping and whatnot.

Given you self compile it could be a file got renamed and now you have two copies in your install directory? I've had that before. Or a stray entry in your config files?

If anyone reading can manage to reproduce this, please let me know.

I removed my config files and I can'nt make it happen anymore.

Lets assume this was just an early adoption issue unless we hear differently.
I'll watch out for similar sounding reports.

Home is shown in Applications category. Clicking Run Command launched System Settings! Also after searching for ksnapshot from inside kickoff, then duplicate run command entries appeared.

Kickoff was rewritten to use Kicker's backend in Plasma 5.5. Feel free to re-open this bug if the issue persists.
