I will open up the Apper, then click on for example kde desktop in the Apper i get this error, "An Internal system error has occurred, Searchgroups not supported by backends."

Reproducible: Always

I can confirm that Fedora 21 with apper version 0.9.1 has this behaviour as well.

same with Fedora 23 Linux (i686) release 4.2.5-300.fc23.i686  , Apper version 0.9.2

This is a downstream (fedora) issue, nothing apper can do about a distro's choice of PackageKit backends (and features)
