*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 321781 *** why is this a duplicate of bug 321781? Afects 4.13.3 on Ubuntu 14.04. See also: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=323211 (In reply to gustavo from comment #2) > why is this a duplicate of bug 321781? Note that the report of bug 321781. What I see here is that plasma-desktop-appletsrc is randomly modified, and that plugin=folderview becomes plugin=desktop plasma-desktoprc is also changed: [ViewIds] 1=1 51=2 making visible a new activity instead of the exiting one, even if plasma-desktop-appletsrc is not writable. I have, [Containments][178] activityId= formfactor=2 immutability=1 lastScreen=0 location=4 plugin=org.kde.panel wallpaperplugin=org.kde.image I have 3 monitors, if I use lastScreen=0 or lastScreen=1, it goes to the left most screen always. if I use lastScreen=2, it goes to the most right screen. Never the middle. From left to right my screen in Display Configuration is . HDMI-0, DVI-1, DP-1, if I set primary monitor to DVI-1, the panel goes to HDMI-0, if I set primary monitor to HDMI-0, it goes to the DVI-1 screen Hello! This bug report was filed for KDE Plasma 4, which reached end-of-support status in August 2015. KDE Plasma 5's desktop shell has been almost completely rewritten for better performance and usability, so it is likely that this bug has already been resolved in Plasma 5. Accordingly, we hope you understand why we must close this bug report. If the issue described here is still present in KDE Plasma 5.12 or later, please feel free to open a new ticket in the "plasmashell" product after reading https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Bug_Reporting If you would like to get involved in KDE's bug triaging effort so that future mass bug closes like this are less likely, please read https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved#Bug_Triaging Thanks for your understanding!
