Error message after using webshortcuts in krunner
Commented by GCI student: Hello, I have same problem. (latest KF5 from Kubuntu CI unstable daily) Konqueror tries to open "/var/tmp/kdecache-ematirov/krun/7191_0_Special:Search" Firefox works correctly, so maybe it's bug of Konqueror. Something like this can happen when the .desktop file of the default browser is misconfured. For example, if you remove the %u from the firefox .desktop file. > Exec=firefox > Exec=firefox %u This will happen. So go to systemsettings > applications > Webbrowser and select "with the following browser", then click on "..." and select the browser you want. The text box will contain something like >browser %u Make sure that there is a %u, and that the browser supports the format browser %u for opening urls, when %u is an url.
