systemsettings5>desktop behavior>desktop effects>desktop cube settings.
in the basic tab, toggle the windows hover above cube then hit okay and the settings will take hold. Then toggle the setting again and this time it will not take hold and will be ignored until systemsettings5 is closed and reopened.
