Description John Hill 2014-11-21 22:40:10 UTC
Version 2.0.2 is current for Mint 17. Sorry if this has been fixed. Everything else seems fine, but if I burn an iso image to a DVD, the disc is reported as blank (even on other machines). This despite the fact that content can be seen by directly examining the disc surface. Using the same iso image on the same hardware but with Brasero produces bootable discs. Initially I thought my optical drive was failing...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download iso image.
2. Insert blank DVD.
3. Use k3b to burn image to disc. (No error is reported, unless k3b is asked to verify written data.)
4. Attempt to mount or boot from disc. System reports blank DVD.

Actual Results:
Coasters. If you like wasting time, you >can< use them again as "blank" discs, since the systems can't tell they've been burned already.

Expected Results:
I should have been able to boot from the disc, or at least mount it.
