can you paste the output of qdbus org.kde.kwin /KWin org.kde.KWin.supportInformation please Can you also include the output if you try and run plasmashell from a command line. It looks from your backtrace that you have a graphic card/opengl drivers so old they can't compile shaders. This is likely the problem. Plasma requires OpenGL at least v2.
Can you reproduce this with selecting OpenGL2 as compositing backend?
No response to comment #3 for a long time, assuming fixed. If you can try Plasma 5.5 with OpenGL backend and this still happens, please reopen this report with new information. Thanks |
