When launching an application, such as plasmashell, and krunner dies (or is killed) the application goes down with it which is quite a problem. Also it seems krunner is logging/keeping somewhere the application's output and in case of buggy drivers and constant flood of error messages causes KRunner to eat all RAM (see Bug 339902)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Quit plasmashell
2. Press Alt+F2
3. Enter plasmashell
4. Quit krunner

Actual Results:  
Plasmashell goes down with it

Expected Results:  
Plasmashell does not close

Haven't seen that in a while, perhaps not an issue anymore.
