Description Joerg Mertin 2014-11-06 12:05:38 UTC
Just chatting, and own message gets displayed twice.
Probably a local echo. Can't find a place to remove it in the configuration.
BTW - using the latest release 0.9

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Type text in chat window
2. Hit Enter

Actual Results:
Message seen twice. See attached URL
http://stargate.solsys.org/tmp/Telepathy_Bug_report.jpeg

Expected Results:
message to be seen only once.

Regular KUbuntu 14.10 installation, nothing fancy or special

I don't have any other client at this time. Sorry.

I actually decided to reinstall Telepathy from scratch again.
Remove all packages that "looked" like belonging to telepathy, and reinstalled telepathy again. This behavior of double-messages does not show up anymore. So my guess is that there have been some old libraries messing with the system.

Sorry for the time on that. You can close it.
