I just looked at the duplicates from comment #9 onwards: they are all Ubuntu 15.04 which is Plasma 5.2 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=347989 wrote 5.3 and says "kubuntu with latest updates". I'll ask him to double check to solve the riddle: the version fixed in field says 5.4. Maybe we should backport the patch? You win. So it does. As for backporting, the patch looks super simple, so as long as those methods are in KWinInfo 5.9, I would suggest doing so. yep, the methods are fine to be used - KWin uses them. Let's wait for Eike's OK nevertheless. ^ No objections :) This bug keeps happening to me as well (once a day on average). I am on Kubuntu 15.04 using Plasma 5.3 from the Kubuntu backports ppa.
