Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
When adding a new category to a todo item, I follow this sequence
1) Click the "..." next to the category field to bring up a select dialogue
2) Type a new tag
3) Click "Create new tag"
4) Click the box next to the new tag
5) Click "OK"


Actual Results:  
The new tag is not displayed in the Categories list.

Expected Results:  
The new tag should be displayed in the categories list.

Clicking "Apply", the tag appears in the categories list.
