Can you consider adding Hangouts support in Telepathy?
There is a library that is REing Hangouts proto and it seems to be working.

Telepahty hangups CM is going on here

You can add an account with

mc-tool add hanging/hangouts hangouts string:account=me@gmail.com string:password=myPassword

Note you need to hardcode the password in till telepathy-hanging gets support

To whoever added the kpeople flag; that's something for us to track whether a bug is related to a specific optional library
