Description ali.sherif10 2014-10-12 19:02:59 UTC
At Advanced Settings, it's set to hibernate the laptop, when the battery is at critical level (At 5%), but it didn't hibernate even when it was ~0%.
I was opening Firefox, Dolphin, System Monitor and maybe System Settings, when the battery was at ~0%.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Don't plug the AC adaptor.
2. Open Firefox, Dolphin, System Monitor and maybe System Settings then do anything, until the battery is at ~0%.

Actual Results:
The laptop didn't suspend.

Expected Results:
The laptop suspends, when the battery is at 5%.

Distribution: 64 bit OpenSUSE 13.2 RC1 (A development version).
Laptop manufacturer: HP.

This bug is reported on libsolid which is the kdelibs4 version of the solid library. It is now in maintenance mode. If you think it should still be fixed in the KDE Frameworks 5 version of solid please move it to or report a bug on frameworks-solid or Powerdevil.

I don't know how to do it.
I didn't test it. I don't think I've this bug on Kubuntu.

Nikola, please read comment #1. It's best to report a new bug for "Powerdevil" if you can rule out kernel issues.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Please try again with the latest version and submit a new bug to frameworks-solid if your issue persists. Thank you!
