I'm using kipi's GPSSync dialog to geotag my photos. I do it via KPhotoAlbum. There, it shows up in the "Plugins" menu entry. Sadly, this is not the case for Gwenview (where it would be way more handy for me to have it).

I already had a look at the sources, but this is a bit too complicated for me ;-) I could not find the reason for GPSSync not showing up. According to Gilles Caulier from Digikam, "There is no technical reason from the plugin side to refuse to load
plugin into Gwenview".

Well, as said: it would be really fine if this was available in Gwenview.

This problem does persist, but with Digikam's geolocation KIPI plugin being gone for quite some time now (and with the initial release of KGeoTag ;-) this maybe obsolete meanwhile.
