Description Alejandro Nova 2014-10-02 02:26:22 UTC
This is more of an Outlook.com bug than an Akonadi bug, but it should be work arounded.

The LIST command is not allowed in the Outlook.com IMAP implementation. As a result, mail operations are extremely slow, since KMail needs to download the full mail list.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I try to update Outlook.com mail inbox
2. I get the error message A0000012: LIST command not allowed
3. Retrieving mail is extremely slow and unreliable.

Actual Results:
Retrieving mail is unreliable.

Expected Results:
I can get all of my mail.

This bug has only been reported for versions older than KDEPIM 4.14 (at most akonadi-1.3). Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a recent version of akonadi (part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
