Description Paul H. Harder II 2014-09-29 13:01:52 UTC
I just downloaded Marble from PortableApps.com. Everything works fine except that the OpenStreetMap theme is a featureless globe with no data other than latitude and longitude lines. Is there something I must do, to get the map data?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the program.
2. Click OpenStreetMap.

Actual Results:
A bluish, featureless globe image with latitude and longitude lines, and a few labels. No roads. No continents.

Expected Results:
Roads and maybe political divisions on a base map that differentiates between continents and oceans.

Never heard of PortableApps. It is not associated with KDE nor supported.

That said, can you give our Windows installer from https://marble.kde.org/install.php a try? Please re-open this bug if the issue comes up with that version also.
