Description Rolf-Juergen Engert 2014-09-14 13:00:55 UTC
Hey, my Linux-Version is Mint 16 (Petra). I want to use "Wine" for some special Excel-applications, which do not run properly under Libre Office.
Every time I start "Wine1.4" , two windows will open half and then the process stops and that 's it.
I can close it though, and my computer does not crash.
I cancelled and reinstalled "Wine" several times, but no improvement is occuring.
Where is the solution? May be you can help me.
I really want to get rid off MS and XP, but Linux is pretty challenging and complicated for a guy like me.
Kind regards
Rolf from Germany

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I open up KDE
2.I doubleclick on Wine
3. Two windows open half and then get stuck.

Actual Results:
See above

Expected Results:
Start Wine.

None - see above.
Severity: im my opinion between "Major" and "Normal".
