The crash can be reproduced every time, also on other computers, e.g. with openSUSE 13.1 (i586).

GIMP on Linux, as well as image viewers and other programs on MS Windows process the mentioned JPG correctly.

The current KF5 based version from git (4eaf0f4) doesn't crash anymore, but just shows a message after scaling higher than ~12% here:

Loading image failed
