Created attachment 88532 [details] self-explanatory output of kmailcvt --version Qt: 4.8.6 KDE: 4.13.3 KMailCVT: 4.13.3 What I did before the crash occurs: importing a Kmail backup file, size of the file is 4.7GB (installed RAM in my system is 16GB) What did I notice before the crash occurs: the usage of my system RAM grows until it reaches a state that the system is not usable. waited about 10 hours if the system might come back to life, to find it has chrashed
