I Accidentally left CUDA support enabled when I built the OpenCV libraries. You probably do not have a Nvidia graphics card or a recent enough version of the CUDA libraries. Either way, that was my mistake and it should not have been included. I will rebuild and make a new release in a day or so. The bug you referred to is #338085. Very sorry for the troubles! (In reply to anon from comment #0) > Uninstalling and reinstalling digikam 4.2 resulted in the same error message. I have rebuilt without CUDA support and have uploaded a test installer here. Could you test to see if it works for you? https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4Esh3gAgC9QdzllM2Rzc3Uyb00/edit?usp=sharing (In reply to Ananta Palani from comment #2) > (In reply to anon from comment #0) > > Uninstalling and reinstalling digikam 4.2 resulted in the same error message. > > I have rebuilt without CUDA support and have uploaded a test installer here. > Could you test to see if it works for you? > > https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4Esh3gAgC9QdzllM2Rzc3Uyb00/edit?usp=sharing Dear Anata, Wow! Thanks for the quick response! The rebuilt version without CUDA support works: I don't get any error message and digikam launches without problems! Looking at the comments on the digikam website this also seems to have fixed the same problem for another person ("Joe"), so I guess it is now all sorted out! Thanks again, Thomas the test installer solved the issue for me too. Thanks! (In reply to anon from comment #3) > Dear Anata, > Wow! Thanks for the quick response! You're welcome! Glad it worked. I'll post an updated link to the KDE servers for the same installer after it's on there. |
