Description tbeck 2014-07-23 18:27:45 UTC
In <Settings> Menu under <System Check> the check fails and I am advised to install non-free Adobe Acrobat Reader. The fact that I have Okulus installed is detected.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Use a System without Acrobat Reader
2.have Okulus installed
3.Do the System Check in Kile
Actual Results:
Popup-window Test Results:
Test not passed

Expected Results:
It seems that you need propriatary software for kile to work properly. Not only Adobe's product should make the check pass.

Pass the test, should not advise to use unfree software.

AFAICT it doesn't advise you to install acroread, this is a simple warning that acroread is not present, and it doesn't advise you to use proprietary software either. This is a simple test to check if the reader is present or not, that's all. On the contrary, it tells you you can use Okular (provided it is actually installed on your system, else this would be another fail...)

Please do not see statements that are not there at all...
