Created attachment 87857 [details] screenshot of the reduced menu I am using Kile on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, and when I change the toolbar (Edit in my case), the elements in the menu Settings disappear. In particular, I wasn't able to configure Kile any more. I solved the problem by deleting the file kileui.rc in my home folder, but as i try to change the toolbars I get the very same problem. I used Kile on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS without having any problem of this kind.
