Thanks for the bug report. I'm afraid the backtrace does not contain much useful information. In principle, the most helpful thing that you could provide would be a Valgrind log (see https://community.kde.org/Dolphin/FAQ/Crashes ), but this is difficult to get if the crash is not reproducible. Created attachment 87802 [details] this is the crash report, that I couldnd submit with the crash reporter Application: dolphin (4.13.2) KDE Platform Version: 4.13.2 Qt Version: 4.8.6 Operating System: Linux 3.13.0-30-generic i686 Distribution: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS - What I was doing when the application crashed: there were two files selected and I pressed F2 for renaming, but then I pressed ESC to cancel the renaming without adding anythig into the proposed name. One of the files was "Simon & Garfunkel - CD2 - 06 - Bookends Theme.mp3" I tried it agai, but it didnt crach again. I use dolphin on Ubuntu 14.04 32bit with Unity
