After updating to 4.12.4 on dev platform 4.13.1 I am unable to send email any more.
I have tried scheduling the send for a later time with no success.  I have updated again today, and even tried to pull a more recent version from SID but there is not one there.  I have checked the settings for my outgoing servers and they are the same as before the update.  Receiving works fine.

My passwords are not saved to the kwallet  thingy and must be entered every time to send an email.  In fact that kwallet / noempuke / database / search thingy is disabled completely on my system

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create new or reply to thread
2. send email = no dialog box to enter password
3. email never sent

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
