Hi Wayne, Thanks for your report. I haven't been able to reproduce it yet -- my cintiq hybrid companion doesn't seem to show the issue, or maybe I'm doing something wrong in the wacom config utility. Confirm. The modifier is coming but the real button press not, so no color picking is happening. Still an issue for me as well: I have the latest (as of writing) Wacom driver 6.3.9w3 for my Cintiq 22HD and when I assign the modifier ALT to the side pen button I can see the icon changing to the colour-picker, but when I click I don't pick a colour. I would also note that I switched from an Intuos 3 to the Cintiq and I didn't have a problem with that with the same version of Krita. This happens every single time I attempt it. I'm on Windows 7 64bit. In the meantime, I've been able to reproduce the issue. Hey Boud, have you've been able to track down this issue yet? I'm missing this function a bit. It's how I've used my pen forever in Painter and Photoshop, kinda sucks I can't in krita on windows. BTW this function seems to work fine on my surface 2 tablet. I can assign the modifier CTRL to a stylus side button just fine my tablet running wacom "feel" drivers on windows 10, just not on pc with a wacom cintiq or tablet. No, I haven't been able to figure it out yet... *** Bug 353305 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I have the same problem on Arch Linux, I believe since 2.9.7. I have a pen side button bound (via xsetwacom) to "key +ctrl button 1 key -ctrl", and pressing it makes the brush cursor slightly smaller but does nothing else. The workaround I've been using is to bind it only to "key +ctrl", then hold it and tap to pick a color. Perhaps a related problem that started at the same time: I have another button bound to ctrl-z (as "key +ctrl z -ctrl"). Sometimes I'll press that button and immediately try to draw a new stroke, but Krita will colorpick instead, as if there's a slight delay before it realizes the ctrl key has been released. Oh, I've also tried binding a single key (like `) to colorpick rather than needing to click at all, and that just doesn't work at all, even from the keyboard. krita-2.99.89. while pressing the ctrl, does not capture the color, version krita_x64_2.9.11.0 no such problem, windows 8.1 64 bit, graphics tablet Yiynova, if you take the mouse, the same problem. *** Bug 350162 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 351605 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** i have a similar problem with my pen buttons. using a wacom intuos draw with a slightly older driver, however i tried the new one too and it's happening there too. it starts with 60% of the time that the wacom driver settings are set to default and one of my buttons not working correctly. sometimes when i restart it uses the settings i set up, but the one button doesn't work as intended. it worked more frequently before i tried to reinstall the wacom driver. (windows 10 home 64 bit) also when i change the mapping while krita is open, it's changed to some strange mapping that doesn't match any standard or custom profiles if i restart my pc, the first instance of krita has functioning buttons, however spacebar + click doesn't work if space is a button on the pen, same as ren described it for alt Hi, all! After all the refactoring and work, the feature now works in the latest nightly builds! :) Please check with these builds: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Krita_Nightly_Windows_Build/ |
