If you use the search function in the editor window, and e.g. the search wraps past the end of the file, a popup appears. This seems to be a new feature introduced in a recent release (3.13.1 or earlier).

The problem is that this popup disappears with a timeout. It's extremely distracting. It makes me wait before it disappears before I continue with anything. (I know I don't need to wait, and it doesn't actually block you from doing work. This happens because it's distracting, not more and not less.)

I tried to get used to it, but it annoys me every time. Would it be possible to get an animation- and timeout-free user experience?

(Insert rant here how animations and timeouts make GUIs look slower.)

Reproducible: Always

Now it just loops around. Closing as WFM.
