Widget Picker can't occupy space other windows are occupying
I'm getting this issue in neon5-201406271613. It seems that if a window is occupying the space that the widget picker usually occupies (the left side of the screen), the widget picker will move to the right of the window to free space (see picture). If you click the add widgets button from the panel settings, the panel settings window takes up the whole screen horizontally. This makes the widget picker close because it can't move to the right of the panel settings.
Its still not fixed. Place your mouse over the panel until the handle popup appears. Now click add widgets. I think the situation enoop describes is a different bug which I can't reproduce. The original bug seems to be fixed, now we're talking about explorer placement which is a different bug. Marking as duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 332702 *** (In reply to comment #6) > The original bug seems to be fixed, now we're talking about explorer > placement which is a different bug. > > Marking as duplicate. > > *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 332702 *** Please read the comments again, this is not a dublicate of bug 332702 Created attachment 87488 [details]

Yeah, I saw enoops bugs. This is different. Marco made a patch that should fix this invoking the widget explorer before we hide the panel. Please reopen if you still get this. |
